    Andhra Pradesh is situated on the Deccan Plateau-one of the oldest geological formations in India. The Godavari and Krishna rivers cut through the plateau, forming large deltas before entering the bay of Bengal.

    With its recent foray into information technology, Andhra Pradesh is promoting itself as the 'No 1 State'.

    Andhra Pradesh attracts huge number of tourists with Tirumala and Puttaparthi in the south being two of the most visited pilgrim sites in the World. Hydrabad-Secundrabad, the twin city capital, is also a magnet due to its Muslim heritage. Warangal, Vijaywada and Nagarjunakonda for observing the evidence of early Hindu-Buddhist societies and ancient architecture.
